About Me

My name is Amy M. White, M.A. I graduated from Wright State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. I then went on to work as a teacher then a transcription writer, a Technical Writer for a major bank, and a freelance Technical Writer until I began Graduate School in 2010. Six years and one baby later, I graduated from American Public University in 2016 with a Master of Arts in European History.

I continued working freelance while I sought out my lifelong ambition to teach history and began teaching history at Central State University in 2018.

I have been married to my best friend for ten wonderful years, and we have a seven-year-old little boy that keeps us on our toes and always ready for an adventure. We also have a medium-sized fur-baby, Katey, who loves long walks and chasing the menacing squirrels out of our yard. We also have six little fish, affectionately known as Donkey, Seamus, Sharky, Sirius, Regulus, and Snape, as well as two snails we named Peter and Alvin.
